No matter what season it is Chicago will always have one of the best fan bases in the world. Whether they win or lose they are always loud. Chicago is a football city it bleeds Blue and Orange. The Bears finally have their qb and this one looks legit. Along with adding big names this year in free agency. About a month ago the Bears traded the #1 overall pick to Carolina for star wide receiver Dj Moore along with the #9 pick a future first and two seconds. This will bump the offense up another level. On the other side of the ball they added two of the top middle linebackers in the league Tremaine Edmunds, and hometown kid Tj Edwards. Edwards grew up a bears fan being 40 min away from halas hall he knows what culture he is bringing and wants to set on this defense. All in all next year could be a breakout season for the Bears.
The Chicago Bulls had a rough year. Many stretches threw the year were up and down. It took half of the season far star player Zach Lavine to be playing at the level everybody expected him to when they begun the year. Demar Derozan had another amazing year for the Bulls. He said in a recent interview “Chicago has been everything to me” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCMvTmfXpkg. Going into free agency not knowing if Lonzo Ball will be back next season as he underwent a third knee surgery this season and was sidelined for the 2022-2023 season. The other big thing on their minds and many fans is will they re-sign Nikola Vucevic. Over his last three seasons with the Bulls he has been a solid offensive piece, however the Bulls could look for a more lanky and younger center that is available in free agency.
The championship era team of the BlackHawks is officially over. They traded Patrick Kane back home to the New York Rangers and hard set to release Jonathan Toews at the end of the season. The last of my childhood teams are officially gone. It’s time to start a rebuild and although it will be a difficult process the young players they have in play are confident they can help turn this franchise back into the dynasty it once was.
No matter what happens in sports the fans of Chicago are always there ever home game rooting on their team. The Bulls lead the league in attendance this year. It doesn’t matter what the ups and downs look like it’s what the finished product will look like. Chicago in the future for all of these sports are going to be dangerous for years to come.
